I cannot believe how quickly 2011 flew by. It was a great year for both Carson and Ella! I documented our lives on our "old" blog up until April. I then went on an eight month hiatus from the blogging world. I continued to capture precious memories behind the lens, but neglected to journal them on here. Within the past eight months, both children have had "highlights" in their lives. Carson became a big third grader, played on a travel baseball team, started weekly baseball lessons, developed a great love for Beyblades, began liking video games too much, turned nine years old, lost many more teeth, and grew several inches taller. The most important change in his life is that he was baptized on September 25. Ella made it one step closer to becoming a kindergartener, changed schools, developed a great love for crafting, really grew as a writer and a reader, made many new friends, and learned how to ride a bicycle.
Both children, snuggled together in Carson's top bunk, are currently struggling at 11:10 to stay awake to welcome the new year. I have a FULL heart thinking of the love they have for one another and for the blessings they bring into my life.
Thank you Jesus for the two Fearfully and Wonderfully Made children who call me Mommy!
